Good morning and welcome to Episode 106 of the Train Your Brain Podcast with Dr. Michael Trayford. It’s Monday again, so this is our weekly, 30-minute episode. (Tuesday through Sunday we produce five-minute episodes with daily tips.) Every episode of the Train Your Brain Podcast provides advice for helping you to improve the function of your brain.
In Episode 106, Dr. Trayford talks about another important application of blood sugar. He has talked about limiting consumption of blood sugar, but on the opposite end of the spectrum he wants to caution us against letting our blood sugar become too low as a result of skipping meals. This is not an effective dieting technique, in fact it will most likely prevent your body from releasing fat. Watch for the signs of low blood sugar and make sure that you are fueling your body and brain all day long.
