When we multitask we are less-likely to retain, which means there is less longterm memory production. Additionally we are more distracted and more likely to make mistakes. Instead of trying to do many things at one time, consciously completely one activity at a time. Give this a try! Multitasking just results in superficial interactions and learning experiences. Today Dr. Trayford shares brain training tip number 117. Getting your eyes checked usually means getting glasses, but Dr. Trayford would also want to look at how your eyes move. People come into his office for performance, attention anxiety, etc. and one of the first things Dr. Trayford looks at is the eyes. Using Videonystagmography, seeing how well you move your eyes slow, how well you move your eyes fast, and the ability to hold your eyes on a target, he can help diagnose which part of the brain is not working properly.
