Ep. 283 – Imagery Distraction for Better Sleep

Train Your Brain Podcast logo

Today we bring you Brain Training Tip number 283! Welcome to the Train Your Brain Podcast. Your host is Dr. Trayford and his tip is to use imagery distraction for a better night’s sleep. This is a technique where you look at pictures of neutral “concrete” objects, like something you can see clearly that is not surrounded by lots of other things. Try a picture of a kite, a beach or a candle, for example. Look at these pictures throughout the day and then visualize them while you are falling asleep. Feel free to reference this article by Dr. Luc Beaudoin. Thanks for listening!
