Train Your Brain Podcast logo

Good morning and thanks for tuning in for brain training tip number 278! Your host is Dr. Trayford and today he recommends a healthy amount of daily walking! It is popular for people to strive to take 10,000 steps per day but actually the amount of steps that should be taken per day depends on your height, your weight, your speed and your stride. So keep that in mind, as you work your way up to 10,000 steps per day and shoot for this range of adequate fitness. Typically 10,000 steps could be taken in a 90 minute walk. So, make an effort to walk more and your body and brain will thrive! Thanks for listening!
