Good morning listeners! Happy Monday and welcome to Episode 211. Today Dr. Trayford continues his discussion of the biomarkers of concussion. There are indicators that doctors use to measure the effects of a traumatic brain injury and the progress toward recovery that can be made. For example, there is a test to see how well our brains are timing things. Brain injuries can affect our body’s timing for things such as heart beats and hormones. So, the tip for today is to get your body’s timing checked! If you think your body’s timing is out of whack it can affect how you walk, think and everything in between. Have a great day!
